Saturday, 11th July 2026, at ‘Apifo’ou rugby field, will mark a new epoch in the local rugby union. The officials of the Marist ‘Apifo’ou Rugby Club and Liahona Old Boys Rugby Club have agreed to launch a game for a cup named Marist and Liahona Old Boys Cup. This competition will run for three consecutive years and will be opened this year with a match between Marist and Liahona Old Boys. The award for this competition is the cup and $3,000. With the local rugby season officially over, these two teams have launched the Marist and Liahona Old Boys competition, inviting all interested clubs to join in. This competition is part of the official program celebrating the 2026 Liahona and Saineha Alumni Reunion.
